For clients who wish to use our in-house design services, we offer a free, no-obligation, hour long consultation that goes over what the client envisions for their property. We’ll personally inspect the property and offer suggestions and advice regarding grading, construction, integration with existing structures and the need for any building permits. Our experience with local building codes ensures all our work is done in compliance with regional laws.
Our consultants are known for listening intently to the client’s needs, desires and vision in order to come up with a plan that works within the limitations of the property itself, the client’s budgetary concerns and the overall landscape-design concept. At the end of the meeting we’ll be able to provide a quote to cover the costs of the landscape concept design.
Once the landscape concept design budget is approved, we’ll move forward to create scalable, computer rendered drawings of the planned landscaping project. This will include the complete layout of hard and soft landscaping as well as any construction, lighting and planting needs. These drawings will be adjusted according to feedback from the client and will provide the basis for a budget covering the overall landscaping project.
Getting the go ahead from the client, we’ll assign an experienced foreman who will oversee the project from beginning to end. They will manage a team of expert tradespeople handpicked specifically for the job at hand. Whether the job requires electricians, arborists, carpenters, stonemasons, plumbers or any other workers, M&S will manage the team and get the job done within the budget and time limits agreed upon with the client.
